Jab they met…

When a wandering wizard, chanced upon the random paths of a self proclaimed vagabond, thoughts overlapped. For, the wizard could work upon the wheel of words and the vagabond spoke through potent images. Did life stand still when the two exchanged their first greetings? We don’t think so, for both joined in a quest of wielding images and powerful thoughts. And my new blog –  A Vagabond and A Wizard  is a portrait of such efforts.

I kept staring at it for the whole day. Nothing happened. At one time I left it alone hoping that it might come up with some miracle. But nothing happened in reality…

I guess I’m watching the same old story. May be I was wrong yet again. Or I’ve committed something wrong.  But what wrong? I guess there’s nothing wrong in expecting something. But yes it is wrong if you don’t know the rules of the game…

To you I will always return…

It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word
And then that word grew louder and louder
‘Til it was a battle cry
I’ll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye
Just because everything’s changing
Doesn’t mean it’s never
Been this way before
All you can do is try to know
Who your friends are
As you head off to the war
Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light
You’ll come back
When it’s over
No need to say good bye
You’ll come back
When it’s over
No need to say good bye
Now we’re back to the beginning
It’s just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can’t feel it too
Doesn’t mean that you have to forget
Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
‘Til they’re before your eyes
You’ll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye
You’ll come back
When they call you
No need to say good bye

At last something from the two worlds…

[sorry Bigyan for using this phrase of yours 😉 ]

That’s what I would say to express my present state . This is because of a recent development. In my final semester of PG studies I have got the opportunity to work on something that relates the two domains of my study, Physics (in graduation) and Computer Science & Engineering (in post graduation). The subject is called Game Physics. It’s the subject that deals with incorporating the laws of nature in virtual reality and augmented reality environments like computer games and 3D simulation models.  Basically  this branch of study inherits from both  3D Computer Graphics and Simulation Physics.  From the very beginning of my PG studies I  have always tried to relate Physics and Computer Science but now the opportunity has come and I guess I will try hard to come out with good results.

An innocent wish

Being a techie my habits are becoming somewhat mechanical I guess 😦 Every morning I wake up seeing the blinking face of my PC   [really I want the word PC to be replaced by something else ;)] sitting beside  my bed.  innocent wish1

This morning was no different but today while searching for some document in my computer, I came across this picture which I clicked about an year ago.  I along with my friend Prabhat once went to the Park Street Cemetery to find some food for our cameras. While returning, I chanced upon a School Bulletin Board where I saw this craft was put up. It has innocence written all over it. It attracted me so much that I made it a part of my collection. It read…

Seeing the picture, I felt very good within. I just smiled [this can’t be expressed with any smiley I guess] and thanked the HOLY SPIRIT for my day started well wrapped in innocence and purity 🙂

A nice surprise

versatile-blogger award

Well, the “Versatile Blogger” award really came as a surprise to me. For that, I thank my dear blogger friend, Wanderer as I humbly accept the award from her :)  Surely an award like this boosts you up.  I will try to live up to the expectations that an award like this comes with as I keep strolling along the Random Paths.

Now the award came with a condition that I need to share 7 things about me while putting it up in my blog… So according to the condition I’m sharing seven things about myself with you my dear reader 🙂

1. Well to begin with I would like quote a few lines from the famous Animal Song by Savage Garden :

I want to live like animals
Careless and free
I want to live
I want to run through the jungle
The wind in my hair and the sand at my feet.

Yes I believe every bit of the above lines and try to live likewise 🙂

2. I’m really fond of dark chocolates.

3. I love walking in the rain.

4. From a very young age I found the books very fascinating and I always enjoy their unselfish company. I think they really help  to nourish your mind, make your thoughts wise and tolerate.

5. I’m always in search of knowledge as I stroll along the Random Paths of life, and always delve deep while  studying a subject which I find interesting.  Nothing superficial is important to me in this regard.

6. I find interests in photography and graphics design (I think it’s already evident from my blog).

7. I believe that in every moment of life there is a scope to improve myself so I always strive to do better.
